Da Nang, Vietnam to Toronto, Ontario, Canada [March 2025]

Recently my husband and I had to use the services of Flight Medic UK to be repatriated to our home in Toronto from Da Nang, Vietnam, after my husband experienced a pulmonary embolism while on a cruise. Our insurance company liaised with Flight Medic and Nick was assigned to our case. His supportive expertise, calm and caring manner made our very long and potentially dangerous trip home (from a medical standpoint), stress free and seamless. Nick arranged wheelchair transport for my husband at each airport, which was invaluable in helping us easily navigate through security and check-in procedures. Even though we are experienced travellers, we could not have managed this journey on our own—Nick was wonderful in sorting through all the necessary details to make our journey home comfortable and safe.

We are very thankful to Nick and his whole team at Flight Medic UK for all their help in getting us home in a timely and safe manner. They turned a very scary medical situation into one that had a very happy ending. We are so grateful!
